Gaga does cover again for Vogue


Pop diva Lady Gaga is the cover girl for the latest issue of US fashion magazine Vogue.The ‘Paparazzi’ hitmaker has posed in a silk kimono robe designed by Haider Ackermann, sporting a sharp bowl cut pink wig and deep red lipstick for the cover of the magazine’s March issue, reported Daily Telegraph.The accompanying article has writer Jonathan Van Meter writing from experience of following the 24-year-old controversial singer around on tour.Gaga spoke about her love for British fashion, saying, “The fashion community in general got me much earlier than everyone else. But actually, I felt truly embraced by this London cultural movement, that MCQueen, Isabella (Blow) Daphne Guinness wing of the English crowd.””I remember when I first started doing photo shoots, people would say, ‘My God, you look so much like Isabella Blow, it scares me,” she added.The magazine is released just one day before Gaga’s highly anticipated new single ‘Born This Way’ becomes officially available.The track has been shrouded in mystery, however, the singer has released the cover art and lyrics on her Twitter page and described the song as an “immaculate conception”.
Lady Gaga may have just wanted to express herself with her new song, and it appears one of her mentors has noticed.Lady Gaga released the song Born This Way on Friday, but it was almost immediately panned by critics as sounding too much like Madonna’s hit, Express Yourself.On Saturday, Madonna posted a video from more than 20 years ago on her YouTube channel of a live performance of the song Express Yourself. It was shot during the 1989 MTV Video Music Awards.Neither Lady Gaga nor Madonna have spoken publicly about the comparisons being made between their songs. Lady Gaga has previously said she’s inspired by Madonna.Madonna’s brother has bashed the new song to the website Radar Online.”All I can say is, ‘What the f—,’” he said. “It sounds just like Express Yourself. I can’t believe it to tell you the truth.”Lady Gaga is set to perform the song Sunday at the Grammy Awards.
