Good news, Tweeners: Jack’s back as host of this year’s Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards!
The 24th annual fan-orcastrated show honoring kids’ favorites in music, TV, sports, and film will air live from the University of Southern California Galen Center on April 2. And the Kung Fu Panda comic will stand in as Master of Ceremonies.
“Jack Black is the perfect mix of comedy, rock and star-power that will set the tone for an amazing show,” Marjorie Cohn, Nick’s President of Original Programming and Development, said in a statement Thursday.
Black is a two-time Kids’ Choice host alum, having served as emcee of the show in 2006 and 2008. He succeeds Mall Cop star Kevin James, who hosted last year’s ceremony.
