Kim Kardashian Gotti Biopic Casting

Kim Kardashian as a Gotti Girl? It could happen, Hollywood spies say!

Kardashian — who cut her acting chops in 2008′s Disaster Movie and a guest stint on CSI: NY — is the rumored frontrunner for the role of Kim Gotti, the wife of reputed Gambino mobster John Gotti Jr., in an upcoming biopic about the bloodthirsty crime family.

Kim, described as a quiet, rarely photographed Mob bride, has six children with her husband of 21 years — who escaped a lengthy stint behind bars after the government tried unsuccessfully to convict him on racketeering charges no less than three times.

John Travolta and James Franco are reportedly on board to play John Sr. and John Jr., respectively, in the Gotti flick, currently in pre-production.

All we need now is Snooki in the role of Victoria Gotti and this mess will have all the markings of a Lifetime Original Movie!

Cross-eyed possum predicts Natalie Portman as Oscar

A cross-eyed possum in Germany is predicting this year’s Oscar winners. Following in the footsteps of Paul the Octopus – who predicted the World Cup football results — Heidi the possum is giving her tips for the Academy Awards. Each day the cute marsupial is being released in a pen, where she comes face to face with a row of fake Oscar statuettes. Whichever statue she touches with her paw first signifies the winner in that category. Last night (Tuesday) Heidi picked Black Swan star Natalie Portman to take home the Best Actress award. The possum made Portman her chosen one after sniffing around the trophies and walking in and out of her box. The hilarious footage was broadcast on Jimmy Kimmel’s US chat show. A picture of each actress was taped to each statuette — complete with cross eyes to make Heidi feel at home. Heidi, who is believed to be two-and-a-half-years-old, was abandoned outside an animal shelter in North Carolina in the United States with her sister Naira, and has been living at Leipzig Zoo in Germany since May last year.

Kate Middleton Makes a Point With Car Ride to Wedding

If there's one thing the Brits are known for, it's their homage to tradition. But with their upcoming wedding, Kate Middleton and Prince William plan to offer up a whole new take on it.

Now that official invites have made their way to no less than 1900 people, including royalty, prep school chums, heads of state, and close relatives and friends, the royal pair are set on putting their own stamp on tradition.

A prime example of this is the bride arriving by car rather than horse-driven carriage en route to Westminster Abbey.

A palace insider informs People magazine, "Catherine opted for a slightly lower-key arrival. She felt she would be arriving as Miss Middleton and leaving as HRH whatever, so that was the thinking behind it."

Also, a fitting reply to those who are keenly aware of the fact that Britain is facing some difficult economic times.

There's still hope for the romantics though. The general public will have a glimpse of the princess-bearing carriage as 28-year-old William and his fiancee, 29-year-old Kate make their exit from the abbey. People still recall the unforgettable sight of Diana, Princess of Wales when she looked outside her window on the way to her wedding in 1981.

The wedding will be followed by two receptions. The first will be a wedding brunch for 600 of canapes and champagne, hosted by the Queen. Prince Charles, will play host to the royal couple at seven p.m, holding a dinner dance for no less than 300 guests. Invitees will don evening gowns, including the new bride.

Amidst all of the excitement, the pair are doing their level best to make certain not every detail gets leaked ahead of the big day.

Buckingham Palace stated, "Prince William and Catherine are keen that some things be a surprise for that day, for their friends and family, and those watching around the world."

Given their wish to make their April 29 wedding their own, it's bound to be a memory that lasts forever.

Lindsay Lohan Offered Plea Deal With Jail Time, Remains in Denial

The DA offered Lindsay Lohan a plea deal in her felony theft case during a hearing on Wednesday, February 22.

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Keith Schwartz made it clear to Lindsay that an plea deal will be an admission of her guilt and will involve jail time.

"You WILL be going to jail, period!" he said.

"I've never met you before the last court appearance... I treat everybody the same. I don't care that you're Lindsay Lohan vs. John Doe or Jane Doe. That doesn't affect me."

Judge Schwartz indicated that he would ask for a psychological evaluation of the troubled actress to determine the most appropriate sentence for her.

He also offered Lindsay some advice: Get a reliable, trustworthy sponsor, not related to her, to help her cope with "whatever stress or issues she has" and keep her away from substance abuse.

Lindsay and her lawyer, Shawn Holley have been given time till March 10 to dwell over the offer.

Lindsay can either return to Judge Schwartz's court with her decision, or take her Grand Theft case for a preliminary hearing to another judge, who will then also rule on her probation violation.

According to TMZ, minutes after leaving the courtroom, Lindsay told a confidant that she will not accept the plea deal.

"I didn't steal," she said.

Lindsay was a little more conservatively dressed for her court appearance today than the last time, when she wore a sexy white dress. This time she wore white pants, low cut black top and black shoes with towering heals.

Friends Hate Christina Aguilera’s New Beau Matt Rutler

Christina Aguilera’s Rebound Guy isn’t winning rave reviews from the singer’s tight-knit circle of friends, which includes socialite Nicole Richie and celebrity spinner Samantha Ronson. The pop powerhouse has been indulging in a spot of post-divorce partying since calling it quits with soon-to-be ex-husband Jordan Bratman last fall, but her friends say the messy new lifestyle has less to do with her split and more to do with her new man.

Xtina’s fella is a “bad influence on her” and “never tells her to slow down,” an informant tells PEOPLE Magazine.

Friends are concerned that Matt Rutler is no good for the now-single mom, who made headlines in the past few weeks for passing out at a party, fluffing the lines to the National Anthem at the Super Bowl, and nearly tripping during a tribute to Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin at the Grammys.

That disapproval likely extends to Bratman — who had, until recently, remained at the family’s Beverly Hills mansion after his breakup with Christina in order to remain close to the former couple’s three-year-old son, Max. An awkward living situation made worse when Rutler reportedly moved in.

Madonna “Furious” With Lady Gaga

Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way” topped the Billboard Hot 100 and set a record on iTunes when the new-age anthem about acceptance and embracing differences premiered online earlier this month. But for all its record-breaking, the smash single’s woken a sleeping giant in the form of pop culture luminary Madonna. The single has been seeped in criticism over its uncanny resemblance to Madonna’s 1989 hit “Express Yourself” – and The Material Girl is furious that Gaga is telling people that she’s co-signing those similarities.

Just last week, The Gaga appeared on NBC’s The Tonight Show, where she claimed that Madonna had emailed her a “blessing” to release “Born This Way,” despite the comparisons between the new song and the one Madge made gold all of those years ago.

“I got an e-mail from her people and her, sending me their love and complete support on behalf of the single and if the queen says it shall be, then it shall be,” Gaga said at the time.

FACT: Madonna’s representative informed CNN’s Headline News Entertainment that she is unaware of the existence of any email Madge sent to Gaga. Not cool in Madonna’s book, say insiders.

“Madonna is on a war footing and you can expect to see a spectacular response in due course,” a source close to the 52-year-old’s camp yapped to Australia’s NW Magazine this week. “She’s been really impressed with Lady Gaga up until now, but this time she has gone a little too far.”

The “Borderline” singer’s also branded Gaga’s appearance at this month’s Grammy’s -which saw the 23-year-old rocking blonde hair extensions in a high ponytail reminiscent of Madge’s 1990 Blond Ambition World Tour – as “disrespectful.”

“This is just the kind of challenge Madonna thrives on. She has seen countless pretenders come and go, but she still sees herself as the Queen of the Music Industry and it’s high time people were reminded of that.”

Lindsay Lohan Cast As Detective In First Post-Rehab Role “Escaping The Game”

Lindsay Lohan has been cast in her first film role since spending several months behind bars and confined to rehab. In the best example of art imitating life to hit Hollywood since Lady Gaga arrived at the 2011 Grammy Awards dressed as a rotten egg, the trouble-prone ex-child star has landed the lead role in an upcoming comedy-drama about celebrities who struggle with the pitfalls of fame.

She’ll play a gumshoe (That’s vintage speech for detective…) investigating the mysterious deaths of several celebrities in Escaping the Game, according to the film’s director, Nathan Folks.

“She wants to do it,” says Folks, who has cast the actress to co-star alongside Chris Zylka. “We can get her insured if she is with someone who is keeping an eye on her 24/7. Lindsay and I’ve discussed it and she’s already agreed to the condition.”
