Lindsay Lohan has signed on for her first post jail and rehab film, going by her own tweet.
"Went to see my friend @ohferras perform and was talking to a future costar- just to be bombarded by paparrazzi- so much for being normal- im now winded and headed home*" Lohan tweeted early morning on February 20.
According to Radar Online, Lohan is on board for pal Nathan Folks' production titled 'Escaping the Game' with co-star Chris Zylka (10 Things I Hate About You).
Folks confirmed to Radar that Lindsay is interested to work and he is confident that she will not go back to jail, but Lindsay is yet to sign the doted line.
Folks has worked out a way to get Lindsay insured for the film.
"We can get her insured if she is with someone who is keeping an eye on her 24/7," says Folks. "Lindsay and I've discussed it and she's already agreed to the condition."
The film will be shot in the US and Spain starting this summer. It dwells on celebrities who do not handle fame well; many of them disappear and start over under fake IDs. Lohan will play an investigator who gets to the bottom of a celeb disappearance.
Lindsay's outing with co-star Zylka at Ferras' concert was arranged by Folks for the two of them to get to know each other.
Lindsay met with dad Michael Lohan over dinner at Joans on Third before heading out for the concert. TMZ has reported that her mother will arrive in LA on Monday, February 21, to spend a few days with Lindsay.
Lindsay was last seen in Robert Rodriguez directed action film, Machete (2010).
