Celebrating the year's best in music back in her native Canada, Nelly Furtado was among those who joined in on the 2012 MuchMusic Video Awards festivities in Toronto over the past weekend (June 17).
After making a foxy arrival in a stylish Herve Leger frock, the 33-year-old later took the stage for an energetic performance while treating viewers to a rendition of her hit song "Big Hoops (Bigger the Better)".
With the show having been hosted by LMFAO, this year's MMVAs also saw stage efforts by acts including Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, Kelly Clarkson, Hedley and Carly Rae Jepsen - who took home the grand prize of Video of the Year.
Meanwhile, Miss Furtado was recognized as a nominee in the MuchVIBE Hip-Hop Video of the Year category - though the trophy ended up going to Drake for his collaboration with Lil Wayne and Tyga titled "The Motto".
