At MTV Movies Blog, we're all about fair and balanced reporting, trying to avoid cheerleading whenever possible, but when it comes to Rian Johnson's "Looper," we're left with little choice but to wear our geeky, sci-fi-loving heart on our sleeve.
The story of time travel, crime and existential crises stars Bruce Willis as Joe and Joseph Gordon-Levitt as young Bruce Willis as also Joe. Yeah, we know, it's a little confusing. Luckily the brand new international trailer sums it all up pretty well within a matter of a couple minutes.

The new trailer largely expands on the world from the first trailer, which focused primarily on trying to explain the time travel story line. Now that audiences hopefully have a grasp of what's going on, this preview takes a closer look at some of the supporting characters played by Emily Blunt, Jeff Daniels, and walking mark of excellence, Garret Dillahunt. (Seriously, the man knows how to pick roles.)
Also, we get a small preview of the bigger picture. Older Joe isn't just trying to avoid an early, time-travel-y execution. He's in the past to take someone out. Badass.
The new trailer continues what the first preview started and has left us dying for more. Plus, the more we see of Joseph Gordon-Levitt, the more we're convinced he could drastically shift his career path and begin working solely as young Bruce Willis.
"Looper" opens in theaters every where on September 28.
