Giving a glimpse of her new character's look, Jewel was spotted on the Atlanta, GA set of her newest film, "The June Carter Cash Story", on Tuesday (June 26).
The country cutie looked beautiful as a brunette for her role as June Carter, as she donned a teal blouse and black dress pants while making her way around the filming grounds during her busy work day.
And Jewel certainly seems to be enjoying her new role as Johnny Cash's wife, as she has taken to her Twitter page various times posting pictures of herself with captions reading, "Today we r shooting old timey Grand Ol Oprey scenes! Here i am as young June w 1st husband Carl Smith (Linds Edwards)," as well as, "Had such a fun weekend with the baby. Now, back to being June and shooting!"
The Lifetime flick, which is based on John Carter Cash's book, "Anchored in Love," is described as "an intimate portrait of June Carter Cash." The biopic will show the songstress' life from her early beginnings through her marriage with the iconic singer, Johnny Cash.
The TV film, which just started shooting this summer, is set to hit the small screen sometime later this year.
