Lindsay Lohan Boutique Plans In The Works As Actress

Stylish druggie Lindsay Lohan is working with her manager-mom Dina on plans to open a pair of fashion boutiques in New York and Los Angeles — even as she faces a possible three-year sentence in California State Prison on a felony grand theft charge.

On Wednesday, he troubled actress pleaded not guilty to the theft of a $2,500 necklace from a suburban Los Angeles jewelry shop last month, but that hasn’t stopped her mother Dina from forging ahead with plans to launch stores selling clothing and accessories in Venice and Manhattan’s SoHo District, a tattling tipster told RadarOnline.com this week.

“Both Dina and Lindsay love the fashion industry and are excited to do this together,” the source says.

Hollywood hotshot Shawn Chapman Holley, who represents Lohan, tells Us Weekly that Lohan, already on probation for a 2007 DUI collar, would consider a deal, just as long as no jail time is involved.

“…We will entertain a discussion concerning a plea if it means no jail so that she can move forward with her recovery and her career.”

Thursday evening, Lohan took to her Facebook account to declare her innocence in the theft case.

“fyi- i would never steal, in case people are wondering,” she wrote. “I was not raised to lie, cheat, or steal.”

LiLo also used the social network to hit back at criticism that her tight “Sharon Stone in Basic Instinct” white dress was inappropriate for a court hearing.

She added: “what i wear to court shouldnt be front page news. it’s just absurd.”

Meanwhile, Lohan continues to maintain her innocence in the theft case…of course, that doesn’t mean the former big screen “Mean Girl” isn’t looking to cop a plea.
