Irina Shayk is The 2011 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue

David Letterman just announced Irina Shayk is the 2011 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue cover model during a taping of tonight’s episode of the Late Show.

The Russian model’s cover was briefly revealed earlier today on a large billboard in New York’s Times Square for a segment to air later tonight on “Late Show withDavid Letterman.” However, those in the area at the time of the taping were treated to an early glimpse of Shayk in her two-color bikini.

The 25-year-old is dating soccer superstar Cristiano Ronaldo.

Shayk beat heavy favorite Brooklyn Decker to the coveted cover girl spot. Jessica White and Damaris Lewis were the only two African-American models in the running this year.
