Spike Lee's Brooklyn-set Red Hook Summer is scheduled to open in August, and now we finally have the first real trailer. (Doesn't it seem like the photo of the kids flanking Clarke Peters has been around forever?) Newcomer Jules Brown stars as Flik, an Atlanta tween sent to live with his preacher grandfather (Peters) in Red Hook for the summer. The movie's third act takes a seriously dark turn, so fear not a treacly coming-of-age story.
