After undergoing quite the risky surgery to remove kidney stones just two weeks ago, Phillip Phillips is getting back to what he loves most: the music.
Last night (June 22), the "American Idol" winner took to his Twitter page showing that he's getting back in the studio writing, "Had a blast in the studio with (musician Ben Neil) today. It's coming along, it's coming along. Yep."
After almost 12 hours of work, the darling jam-rocker took to his social media page again showing off his hard work ethic tweeting, "Morning came way too fast. Gotta get coffee or something for some energy!"
As previously reported by GossipCenter, the 21-year-old singer underwent a six hour surgery following his "Idol" victory, but when he talked to reporters earlier this week he seems to be getting back on his feet saying, 'I'm good. Not 100 percent, but I'm good," adding, "I'm getting there, probably soon. I'm doing a lot better than expected so it's a good thing."
