Gearing up for the debut of their sexy flick, the stars of "Magic Mike" gathered together for the Warner Bros. Pictures' film's Los Angeles Film Festival premiere on Sunday evening (June 24).

The Regal Cinemas L.A. Live held event was nothing short of spectacular - as leading man Channing Tatum turned up with his lovely lady Jenna Dewan while newlyweds Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves made their red carpet debut as a married couple.

Among the other cast members turning up for the L.A.F.F. closing showcase were Olivia Munn, Alex Pettyfer, Matt Bomer and Joe Manganiello, while Sophia Bush, Cheryl Burke and Cody Horn also made appearances at the west coast screening.

The film, which focuses on male strippers and the psyche of men, was inspired by Mr Tatum's previous job as a stripper in Tampa, FL.

Recently talking about his sultry past, the 32-year-old said, "It was a crazy one. I really enjoyed dancing. That was my favorite part of the job. I didn't really like taking my clothes off. But I made good money and it kept the party going. It was great — for a while."

Although it wasn't exactly the job the then 18-year-old dreamed of, he has no problem owning up to his seedy past, saying, "I'm not ashamed of this period in my life," adding, "I'm not proud of it. I would never tell anyone 'Hey, man, you should go try this!' Because this kind of work is a slippery slope. It's a very intoxicating world, on a lot of different levels. And it can be a bit of a rabbit hole, and you can get mired in it. I think I was lucky enough to be able to enjoy what it gave me — it was my first performing job ever — and then able to get out."

Directed by Steven Soderbergh, "Magic Mike" is set to open in theaters everywhere this Friday, June 29th
