Separated Ashlee Simpson Moves In With Sister Jessica

It’s been a week since Ashlee Simpson (Minus The Wentz) filed for divorce from hubby of two years Pete Wentz, and since calling it quits with the bassist, Ashlee’s packed up the former couple’s young (bizarrely-named son) Bronx and started shacking up with her big sis, Jessica Simpson and Jess’ fiancé Eric Johnson.

Jess has been worried about Ashlee since news of the split broke and has apparently been praying for her to get through this messy time.

“Leaving Pete was tough for Ashlee and she needed to be with her family. Jessica told her she and Bronx were welcome to stay with them until she was ready to find a place of her own,” a family friend revealed to RadarOnline.com this week. “There have been a lot of family dinners and lots of praying. Ashlee couldn’t have asked for better support.”

While Ash has been hiding out with Jess, it seems heartbroken Pete isn’t dealing too well with the breakup either.

“Pete has been crying a lot about this. He is crushed, and does not want it to be over,” the source admitted. “Ashlee is done with him, she loves him, but she’s ready to move on. When he traveled for work, she had a lot of time to think and in the end just felt happier without him.”
