Kate Middleton To Be Dressed By Victoria Beckham

She has her own cologne and has dressed Hollywood aristocracy, and now designer Victoria Beckham may have scored a royal coup.

The British couturier and expectant mom has been requested to provide samples of her fashion line to 29-year-old Kate for her new position as a royal post-marriage to William.

"Apparently, she likes my clothes and has asked to see a selection," she told the Daily Telegraph during New York Fashion Week.

Victoria, 36, was displaying her Fall/Winter 2011 collection and said the princess-in-waiting had the potential of becoming a fashionable royal. She stated, Middleton is a "beautiful young girl. She has a wonderful figure and I think she wears clothes beautifully."

Given Diana's strong support of British couture, it wouldn't come as a shock if Kate indeed ended up wearing clothes designed by Victoria. Choosing someone from her native land would be a smart way of winning over the British public.
