Who are the world’s most desirable women? On its 10th anniversary, AskMen’s 2011 Top 99 Most Desirable Women list presents a changing of the guard, as established celebrities drop off and surprising newcomers step in. This new crop — selected from more than 5 million votes by AskMen’s 16 million international readers — is led by Blake Lively, who seized the top spot in a meteoric rise from No. 85 last year. While seasoned list-veterans Gisele Bundchen and Angelina Jolie have made it onto all 10 editions, this year shows an emergence of fresh, new faces. Additionally, a very deserving Beyoncé emerged as “Woman of the Decade” by ranking high on the list an impressive nine times, and even making it to No. 1 in 2007. With nine appearances, including a No. 1 ranking in 2007, Beyonce (No. 23) has earned the title of Woman of the Decade. These queens of desirability, along with other mainstays like Alessandra Ambrosio (No. 31) and Megan Fox (No. 49), have moved down the list this year to make room in the Top 10 for up-and-comers like Sofia Vergara (No. 3) of “Modern Family” and Selita Ebanks, whose starring role in Kanye West’s 35-minute video for Runaway secured her No. 4 standing this year, up from No. 80 in 2010. Past honorees Jennifer Aniston, Jennifer Lopez, and Pamela Anderson have disappeared from the list in recent years, and actresses Kate Beckinsale and Eva Mendes have both fallen from the Top 10 after three consecutive years.
