The past is coming back to haunt Hilary Duff, as she's just been slapped with a lawsuit for allegedly being at fault during a car accident that occurred in 2010.
The wreck is said to have happened in Los Angeles, CA with the suit claiming that on December 12 the former Disney Channel star ran her Range Rover into a car driven by Rachel Owens.
Miss Owens now says that she suffered "great mental, physical and nervous pain and suffering" as a result.
The documents add that the alleged victim was "prevented her from attending usual occupation for a period of time in the future" because of her supposed injury and she is, therefore, asking for unspecified damages.
