It's a Boy For Elizabeth Banks!

Elizabeth Banks and husband Max Handelman are now the proud parents of a beautiful boy named Felix, who was born via gestational surrogate.
"I have been very fortunate in life both professionally and personally," the 30 Rock star, 37, wrote on her website in a post announcing the birth.
"The one true hurdle I've faced in life is that I have a broken belly," she added.
"After years of trying to get pregnant, exploring the range of fertility treatments, all unsuccessful, our journey led us to gestational surrogacy."

"From that came two miracles. The first was meeting our carrier and her husband who were truly humbling in their decency and generosity."
"The second miracle was the birth of our baby boy, Felix Handelman."
"Felix means 'happy' and 'lucky' in Latin. And true to his name, Felix is a very happy baby and a blessing on our life," she concludes.
Congratulations to the happy parents!

Marie Osmond on meeting Elizabeth Taylor: "Those eyes"

Marie Osmond recalled to the Las Vegas Sun about the time she met Elizabeth Taylor.
The setting was an event at the White House, while Ronald Reagan was president. Taylor (who died Wednesday at the age of 79) was there with her husband at the time, then-Sen. John Warner, R-Virginia.
Osmond, talking after she and her brother Donny finished their 500th show at the Flamingo in Las Vegas, remembered her face-to-face meeting with the legendary film beauty.
"Those eyes," Osmond said. "They were so beautiful, just as everyone says.”
Taylor's trademark violet eyes inspired Osmond to create eyes that color for her doll collection.
Osmond called Taylor "an inspiration. She showed so much courage in her fight against AIDS. She was one of the first celebrities to take up that cause, and I respect her so much for that.”

Italy to Jersey Shore Cast: Fuggedaboutyou!

Here's the situation: Italians are far from pleased that Jersey Shore cast members have invaded their country.

The show didn't even start filming in the region until today, but the backlash against Snooki and company has been severe across various publications, with one reader of the MTV Italia website going disturbingly far and writing:

"When I see this, I wonder whether Osama Bin Laden had a point."

Whoa there. Not even Sammi is that annoying.

In the Rome newspaper New Notzie, meanwhile, columnist Roberto Del Bov wrote of Pauly D and his housemates: "They embody the worst stereotypes of Italians, multiplied by thousands and Americanized."

The country's most widely read publication, Corriere della Sera, went on to describe the reality stars as a group with "slicked hair, exaggerated narcissism, boundless love for the family and outlandish eccentricity."

Exactly! Don't worry, Italy, you'll grow to love these people. So much so, we hope you never send them back.

Simon Cowell Pushes for Nicole Scherzinger on The X-Factor

Nicki Minaj is out. Might Nicole Scherzinger be in?

The hip hop star will not judge The X-Factor, but Simon Cowell himself sounds very close to naming the former Pussycat Doll as the second judge on his upcoming singing competition.

"I want her to do it, but we've got to get the deal done and find someone she has chemistry with," Cowell tells TV Guide. "I absolutely adore her. She was fantastic on the U.K. X Factor and I'm hopeful it will happen."

Cowell says Cheryl Cole is in the mix and also explains his connection to L.A. Reid, who has been confirmed for the panel.

"I met him approximately fifteen years ago when he'd launched Pink for the first time. He put on a show and got every single person in the room to believe this person was a star. The way he presented her with his passion drew me to him and was a big part of why I chose him to be on the show. A "yes" or "no" from L.A. Reid should really mean something to the contestants."

Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick: Battling Over Mason?!?

Attention, Scott Disick: stop doing such a dynamite impression of James Dean and focus on your family life. It's clearly falling apart.

The latest issue of In Touch Weekly reports that Scott has called off the wedding - which will reportedly conclude this season of Kourtney's realty show - and that he's now engaged in a battle over custody of little Mason.

Based on the way Scott's tiny head is staring in the vicinity of his near-wife and child, is there any doubt this story is true?!?

Britney Spears Talks Femme Fatale, Kids, Music, Life With Rolling Stone

"Hold It Against Me" is a #1 hit. "Till the World Ends" is not far behind. Two additional tracks, "I Wanna Go" and "Inside Out", leaked just last week.

Both have drawn waves. The pop princess is back, baby.

Britney Spears opens up to Rolling Stone in a fun new Q&A session. She talks a lot about her new album, Femme Fatale, as well as her home life.

Some excerpts from her interview below ...

On the kids' take on FF: "They definitely dance to it but they are still confused .... It’s like, 'who is this Britney Spears singer in contrast to mommy?'"

On her involvement in the process: "I have always been heavily involved in every album I have ever made. I'm very stubborn when it comes to recording and will only record songs I love, which is why it takes me a long time to make an album."

"I have to feel connected before I record and the song has to spark something inside me. Very few songs do that. I guess it's a good process because I love all my music. I know there are a lot of artists that hate songs they recorded."

Chelsea Houska and Megan Nelson: 2 More Babies For Teen Mom Stars?

Megan Nelson and Chelsea Houska star on Teen Mom 2. Will one or both of them be soon having more babies, too? That's the rumor going around.
According to Life & Style, Megan, 18, who has appeared on the hit reality show as the best friend of Chelsea Houska, is also pregnant with a son!
Megan, a native of Sioux Falls, S.D., has witnessed how best friend Chelsea, 19, struggled with teen pregnancy. But that wasn't about to stop her.

Megan, who's expecting with her boyfriend of only seven months, is publicly sharing her journey on her Facebook and Twitter. As for the other new baby?
It's a bit unclear. The cover story implies that Chelsea is "shocked" over "another baby" (probably cleverly referencing Megan's). But as for Leah Messer?
Despite already having twins, L&S seems to think she's expecting a THIRD child now ... although this fact is conveniently absent from the actual article.
Personally, we'd put money on Jenelle Evans as the next Teen Mom 2 star to get knocked up again. You never know what that loose cannon is up to.

Justin Timberlake: "Flirting" With Mila Kunis!

As we know, Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel have split. Whether it was mutual or one-sided depends on what celebrity gossip you read that day.

One common rumor is that his lovely Friends With Benefits co-star Mila Kunis was somehow involved. The rationale behind that assumption is this:

It's Mila Kunis. She is gorgeous. The movie is called Friends With Benefits.

While reps for Timberlake, Kunis and Biel (whose friends deny she is devastated by the split) are not commenting, we doubt there's anything to it.

That doesn't mean he's not interested in her now, however.

"Justin is very interested in Mila," a source close to the actress, also newly single, tells E! "They've been flirting, but so far nothing has happened."

Operative words from this Mila source: SO FAR. Give it time.

Come on. Why fight it, right? Just look at the photo above and note the obvious chemistry and good genes. We've got to get these two together.

Agnes Fischer: Ryan Reynolds' Rebound Romance?

A mere two months after their separation, Ryan Reynolds and Scarlett Johansson are both moving on. First it was her relationship with Sean Penn.

Now rumors have linked Reynolds and model Agnes Fischer.

Ryan's low-profile lady was seen with him in South Africa, where he's filming Safe House. She's relatively unknown, but has an interesting resume:

The 5'8" blonde has been in ads for Bebe, Reebok, Sure deodorant and Adidas sportswear. She's also graced covers of Shape and Health & Fitness.

Last year, the model appeared in 30 Seconds to Mars' 13-minute music video for "Hurricane," which was banned by MTV in December for being too explicit.

Hold on a second ... MTV plays music videos? Who knew!

Anyway, we wish both of these rumored new couples the best! Some might say it's a little soon to move on, but when you know, you know, right?

Rihanna: Topless For Nivea!

Nivea is making Rihanna its official "voice." More like body!

To celebrate the partnership and the brand's 100-year anniversary, the 23-year-old singer posed for a stunning stripped-down topless photo.

"We are excited to have Rihanna supporting us and helping build a new generation of fans," the beauty product company said a statement.

Rihanna first debuts with Nivea in May, coinciding with the centennial anniversary and her "Loud" tour. She'll also lead an interactive social media campaign.

Unlike the Rihanna photo that caused a stir last week, she looks happy. And unlike previous topless pics that have surfaced, this one isn't of the sexting nature.

She looks awesome, don't you think?

Katie Holmes Sues Tabloid For $50 Million

Katie Holmes is seeking damages of $50 million from American Media, the owner of celebrity gossip tabloid Star, based on a recent cover story.

The lawsuit, over a cover extreme even by Star standards, takes issue with reports that Katie is on drugs, and was filed in federal court in L.A.

Star's "vicious lies about plaintiff, designed to hype sales of a sleazy tabloid magazine, were calculated to cause severe harm," reads the suit.
"The average reader (would invariably) believe that plaintiff has become shockingly addicted to drugs. There is no other way to understand them."

The suit continues: "The cover even created the false impression that, but for plaintiff's nightmare drug addiction, she would 'leave' her husband."

In a statement, AMI said it stood behind the story in Star, which also raised eyebrows for reporting Jason Trawick beat up Britney Spears last year.

Inside, the magazine backs off the claim of addiction, citing incidents in which Holmes joins Scientology sessions where an "e-meter" is used.

Used in the controversial group’s auditing sessions, e-meters allegedly measure electrical resistance and reflecs past emotional experiences.

The article states that the electrical device might release endorphins, or "hormones that cause a pain-killing, mood-elevating effect."

A Scientology member (not Tom Cruise) is quoted as saying about using the e-meter, "Like a heroin addict, you want another dose."

Yup, better get ready to pay up guys.
