What is it with stars filming themselves while getting it on?

So many sex tape scandals have dominated the news in recent years that this week's Eric Dane tape doesn't even make the list. Partly because there was no sex on it, but still. That was a naked and odd display, but not really scandalous.

Other sex tapes, however, have provided ample gossip fodder, unintentional comedy and occasional lawsuits. Some of the videos featured attractive stars, others did not. Some salaciously derailed careers, while others launched them.

10. Lauren Conrad. We know. There was no Lauren Conrad sex tape. But few real tapes have sparked as much gossip as this, which Spencer Pratt concocted during his feud with LC. Honorable made-up mention: Britney Spears-Kevin Federline.

9. Olivia Mojica. This American Idol reject tried to procure a 16th minute of fame with a hard core sex romp, fittingly entitled Hard Core Idol. This tape was most notable as the first in which the star personally asked us to take it down.

8. R. Kelly. When one gets indicted on 21 counts of having sex with a minor (and also urinating on her), it probably seems like not that big a deal when one is eventually acquitted of a more tame charge of soliciting a minor for child porn.
7. Colin Farrell. The actor absolutely went to town on girlfriend and Playboy Playmate Nicole Narain. Their sex tape was widely distributed and popular.

6. Verne Troyer. Admit it, you were grossed out last year when you heard about it, but still watched. It's okay. We did too, and still have nightmares.

5. Dustin Diamond. Dude claimed he didn't condone the video's release, all the while making a back-channel deal with David Hans Schmidt (R.I.P. Dave). That's ethically filthy. Giving those skanks the "Dirty Sanchez" treatment was worse, though.

4. Pamela Anderson. Long before Andy Samberg was on a boat, Pam and Tommy Lee were. Boinking. The couple's honeymoon sex escapades were then stolen from their home and leaked online, sparking years of moans, groans and lawsuits.

3. Rob Lowe. Now a distant memory for the redeemed actor, his 1988 sex tape was a real career Lowe point. He took a random girl home from the Democratic National Convention who turned out to be 16. Rob went to rehab for sex addiction.

2. Paris Hilton. If you didn't know the ho-tel heiress before Rick Salomon hit it night-vision style ... you definitely heard about Rick hitting it night-vision style.

1. Kim Kardashian. The only thing given to this socialite that was longer-lasting than Ray J's erect unit was the publicity Kim's sex tape has garnered for her. Kim is still using her body for attention, but keeps it a bit more kovered these days.

Miley Makes Like a Stripper

Miley Cyrus is a complete phony.

The Disney icon pretends to be an innocent 16-year old whenever she's involved with a scandal, such as when she clearly mocked Asian people in a photograph earlier this year, but then she poses in hooker boots and tells the world she's "not a kid anymore."

As if to prove her point, Miley put on a performance for the ages (literally!) at last night's Teen Choice Awards.

The singer rocked out to her new single, "Party in the USA," while standing atop an ice cream cart (awww, see how young and innocent she is?!?) and pole dancing like a stripper!

Later in the evening, Cyrus presented the Ultimate Choice Award to Britney Spears and told the fans: “I’m a huge fans of hers."

Makes sense. Britney has also made a career out of appealing to teenagers with her supposed saintliness, only to release songs with lyrics that would make Hugh Hefner blush.

We hope we're wrong, but it's just a matter of time until Miley also gets knocked up twice and then divorced.

Vanessa Hudgens Leaked Photos

Vanessa Hudgens is back in news as her nude pictures leaked on internet once again. A couple of years a back, Vanessa made the same mistake and later she apologized for her mistake but it seems that the 20-year-old sensation has not learn from it. Vanessa was snapped nude with her mobile phone and now the pictures are circulating around the globe on internet. On these raunchy pictures, Vanessa has not said anything yet.

Some sources said that it is hard to digest that why these nude pictures hit internet when Vanessa’s latest film “Bandslam”, is going to release on August 14, 2009. Is this anything like a publicity strategy?

This is not for the first time that American actress and singer Vanessa Hudgens surrounded in such controversy. On September 6, 2007, three pictures of Vanessa Hudgens were shown on net. In couple of those pictures, she was shown in lingerie while in the third photo, she was nude. Later on, Vanessa apologized saying that these photographs were taken privately but the release of these pictures on internet was unfortunate. At that time, she said that she was embarrassed over her act and it would never happen again.

Because of those nude pictures, she was dropped from the movie, ‘High School Musical 3’, according to OK! Magazine. These reports were denied by Walt Disney Company saying, “Vanessa has apologized for what was obviously a lapse in judgment. We hope she’s learned a valuable lesson.”Vanessa’s upcoming films are ‘Beastly’, in 2010, and ‘Sucker Punch!’, in 2011.

Obama Joker Poster Surfaces, Sparks Debate

A mysterious poster featuring President Barack Obama portrayed as Heath Ledger's famous Joker are surfacing in L.A. The word "socialism" appears beneath him.

The Obama Joker poster is beginning to appear on off-ramps and underpasses in the Hollywood area. Who made and distributed copies of the poster is unknown.

Whoever is responsible for this viral marketing, is clearly a coordinated endeavor of some kind by a person or persons angry with the U.S. Commander-in-Chief.

The typical charge of socialism is made at the bottom of the likeness of Obama as the Joker from The Dark Knight, though no specific arguments are offered.

Maybe these pissed-off voters are not fans of universal health care?

While some find this to be harmless, even a clever play in the "Hope" poster circulating widely during his bid for the White House, others are a bit critical of Barack Obama being likened to a sadistic terrorist (albeit a fictional one).
